High Safety Shoes UMAG S3 by VM Footwear are designed for everyday use in construction, industry, logistics and other workplaces requiring foot protection and durable safety footwear. They combine water-repellent cowhide leather, absorbent MESH lining, an anatomical HI-POLY insole and a dual-density PU/PU outsole.

The upper is made from patterned cowhide leather, 1.6–1.8 mm thick. Its water-repellent treatment reduces water absorption and helps protect the upper during occasional exposure to moisture. The black colour with orange details gives the boots a distinctive appearance.

The absorbent MESH lining promotes breathability and helps manage moisture inside the boots. It is complemented by an anatomically shaped HI-POLY insole made from lightweight polyurethane foam covered with MESH fabric. The insole has antistatic properties and provides additional comfort during work.

Standard Description

UMAG S3 meets the requirements of EN ISO 20345:2022 with an S3 FO SR safety classification. This includes toe protection, penetration resistance, antistatic properties, heel energy absorption and additional safety footwear requirements.

The steel safety toe cap is designed to protect against an impact energy of 200 J and a compression force of 15 kN. It reduces the risk of toe injuries caused by falling objects and other mechanical loads.

The steel penetration-resistant midsole provides resistance to penetration. No penetration-resistant system guarantees complete protection in every situation. Footwear should therefore be selected according to actual workplace hazards.

The S3 category includes a safety toe cap, an enclosed heel, antistatic properties and heel energy absorption. It also includes penetration resistance, resistance of the upper to water penetration and absorption, and a cleated outsole.

The FO marking confirms outsole resistance to fuel oils. This property is useful where the outsole may encounter fuels and similar substances.

The SR marking confirms additional slip resistance under EN ISO 20345:2022. Testing involves a ceramic surface with glycerol. The marking does not guarantee equal grip on every surface or protection against slipping on ice.

Antistatic properties help reduce the accumulation of electrostatic charge. Antistatic footwear is not electrically insulating footwear and is not intended to protect against hazardous electrical voltage.

The model has no separately specified certified WR waterproof performance or additional ESD, HRO and AN certifications.
