The goal of the High-vis trousers is to visually signal the presence of the wearer, both during the day and at night. The reflective materials and fluorescent colors used on the signal trousers enable the identification of road users in conditions of reduced visibility. Work pants (HI-VIZ) are mandatory for road and highway maintenance workers, traffic police, airport workers, workers in maritime transport, workers at railway and bus stations.

High-vis trousers are divided into three classes according to the proportion of the protective clothing that is covered by the reflective material.
