Boots

The “Boots” category includes personal protective equipment (PPE) that prevents injuries at work with various types of protection. Work Foxx offers a large selection of low and high boots of various protection classes, manufactured according to European quality standards. Boots protect feet and legs from liquid and mechanical influences that we are exposed to at work or at home. The offer includes boots from Lacuna, Dunlop, Swampok and The Welly brands.

We distinguish between work and protective boots , which differ from each other in terms of the level of protection. Work boots with the OB mark are intended for work where there is a small chance of injury due to mechanical influences. Safety boots marked SB have a protective cap and are intended for work where there is a high possibility of injury due to mechanical influences.

Levels of protection

• OB = shoes without protective cap;
• SB = shoes with protective cap;
• S4 = antistatic sole, waterproofing, energy absorption in the sole (footwear made of PVC or rubber);
• S5 = S4+ protection against piercing soles, intermediate bulletproof sole, profiled sole (footwear made of PVC or rubber).

• A – antistatic sole and insole
• FO – hydrocarbon-resistant sole;
• E – the heel that absorbs energy;
• WRU – upper part resistant to water absorption;
• P – puncture resistant sole.

Advanced protections

• HI – sole with insulation from heat;
• CI – sole with insulation from cold;
• HRO – sole resistant to contact heat up to 300°C;
• CR – upper part resistant to cuts;
• WR – waterproof shoe;
• ESD – electrostatic discharge;
• M – metatarsal protection.

The boots have a non-slip sole on various surfaces. Distinguish:

• SRA – tested on ceramic tiles soaked with a diluted solution of sodium-lauril-sulfate (soap);
• SRB – tested on smooth steel with glycerol;
• SRC – tested under the conditions of SRA + SRB.
