MASKAT S1P meets the requirements of EN ISO 20345:2011 and has an S1P HRO SRC safety classification. This standard specifies requirements for safety footwear, including mechanical toe protection and additional protective properties.

The safety toe cap must withstand an impact energy of 200 J and a compression force of 15 kN. MASKAT features a composite safety toe cap that provides protection without a metal toe cap.

The S1P category includes toe protection, an enclosed heel, antistatic properties and heel energy absorption. It also requires penetration protection.

A Kevlar midsole provides penetration resistance. This non-metallic protective component reduces the risk of injury from sharp objects on the ground. The P marking follows the requirements of EN ISO 20345:2011.
