High Safety Shoes OAKLAND BOA S7 by VM Footwear are designed for professionals who need reliable foot protection, waterproof performance and comfort in demanding working conditions. They combine smooth cowhide leather, a waterproof GORE-TEX® membrane, a composite safety toe cap, a Kevlar penetration-resistant midsole, a technical MICHELIN® outsole and the BOA® Fit System.

The upper is made from water-repellent smooth cowhide leather, 2.0–2.2 mm thick. The leather provides a durable construction and resistance to moisture during everyday professional use. The high-cut design offers additional ankle coverage, while the black colour with orange details complements the model's technical appearance.

The interior features a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® membrane. It prevents water from entering the footwear while allowing water vapour to escape. This helps keep feet dry and comfortable when working in rain, wet conditions and changing weather.

Comfort is supported by an anatomically shaped HI-POLY insole made from lightweight polyurethane foam covered with MESH fabric. The insole has antistatic properties and provides foot support during walking and prolonged standing.

Standard Description

OAKLAND BOA S7 complies with EN ISO 20345:2022 and has an S7L FO HRO SR safety classification.

The composite safety toe cap provides protection against an impact energy of 200 J and a compression force of 15 kN. The Kevlar penetration-resistant midsole protects the underside of the foot against penetration by sharp objects.

The S7L category includes a safety toe cap, an enclosed heel, antistatic properties and heel energy absorption. It also includes waterproof construction, upper resistance to water penetration and absorption, a cleated outsole and PL-type non-metallic penetration protection.

The PL designation means that the non-metallic penetration-resistant midsole is tested using a 4.5 mm diameter nail. In the OAKLAND model, this protection is provided by the Kevlar midsole.

The waterproof performance of the S7L category is complemented by the GORE-TEX® membrane, which prevents water penetration while allowing water vapour to escape. This construction is suitable for work in wet and changing weather conditions.

The FO marking confirms outsole resistance to fuel oil. The HRO marking confirms outsole resistance to contact heat during brief contact with a surface heated to 300°C.
