High Safety Shoes VERMONT BOA S7 by VM Footwear are designed for demanding workplaces that require waterproof performance, mechanical protection and reliable grip. Standard Description

VERMONT BOA S7 has an S7L FO HRO AN SR safety classification under EN ISO 20345:2022 with Amendment A1:2024. This classification includes toe protection, penetration resistance and waterproof performance for the entire boot. Additional markings confirm specific protective properties.

The composite safety toe cap protects against impact and compression. Under the standard, it must withstand an impact energy of 200 J and a compression force of 15 kN.

The S7L marking identifies safety footwear with whole-shoe waterproof performance and a non-metallic PL penetration-resistant midsole. It also includes antistatic properties, heel energy absorption and other requirements of the safety category.

The Kevlar PL penetration-resistant midsole is tested using a 4.5 mm diameter nail. It reduces the risk of injury from sharp objects on the ground. Penetration protection has limitations, so footwear should be selected according to workplace hazards.

WR waterproof performance means the entire boot has passed a standardised water penetration test. In VERMONT BOA, the waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® membrane complements this protection.

The FO marking confirms outsole resistance to fuel oils. This property is important where the outsole may come into contact with fuel and similar substances.

The HRO marking confirms outsole resistance to contact heat. The standardised test involves contact with a surface at 300°C for a limited period. It does not mean the boots are suitable for continuous exposure to this temperature.

The AN marking confirms certified ankle protection against mechanical impacts. This feature is useful when working on uneven surfaces and in other demanding environments.

The SR marking confirms additional slip resistance under EN ISO 20345:2022. The test involves a ceramic surface with glycerol. It does not guarantee equal grip on every surface or protection against slipping on ice.

The outsole and insole have antistatic properties. Antistatic footwear is not electrically insulating footwear. This model has no separately specified certified ESD protection. It is not designed to protect against hazardous electrical voltage.
