LIVORNO S1P is safety footwear with an S1PL ESD SR classification under EN ISO 20345:2022 and ESD properties in accordance with EN ISO 61340-5-1:2016.

The composite safety toe cap provides protection against an impact energy of 200 J and a compression force of 15 kN. Its non-metallic construction provides the required mechanical protection without the use of a steel toe cap.

The S1PL category includes a safety toe cap, an enclosed heel, antistatic properties, heel energy absorption and penetration-resistant underfoot protection. In LIVORNO, this protection is provided by the Kevlar midsole.

The PL designation under EN ISO 20345:2022 identifies non-metallic penetration-resistant protection tested with a 4.5 mm nail. This protection complements the completely non-metallic construction of the sandals and protects the foot against sharp objects on the ground.
