Standard Description

The EN ISO 20345:2011 standard specifies requirements for safety footwear. The protective toe cap must withstand an impact energy of 200 J and a compression force of 15 kN. TOKIO is equipped with a composite safety toe cap.

The S1 classification includes basic safety requirements, a closed heel area, antistatic properties and heel energy absorption. The S1 category does not include certified penetration protection. It also does not guarantee a water-resistant upper or waterproof properties for the entire shoe.
