Lucerna low work shoes are without a protective cap and belong to protection class O2. They are made of white smooth microfiber with a textile lining. Padded tongue provides greater comfort and better protection. The anatomical insole based on memory foam adapts to the foot and provides exceptional comfort and reduces fatigue. The double-layer polyurethane (PU) sole with FLOAT TECH® technology provides good traction and anti-slip protection on ceramics and metal (SRC). Work shoes offer protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD) shock.
The low work shoes Lucerna of protection class O2 have an antistatic sole and insole. The sole is resistant to hydrocarbons and the heel of the work boot absorbs energy. The upper part of the shoe is resistant to water absorption. Description of standards
The EN ISO 20347 standard defines the basic requirements for professional footwear. Among other things, there are requirements on the shape, properties of the sole, anti-slip, ergonomic properties, the upper part of the shoes, strength, lining, insoles, soles, etc.. Work footwear according to the regulation EN ISO 20347 does not have a protective cap and is suitable for work where there is a small the possibility of damage due to mechanical influences.
EN 61340-5-1 specifies the characteristics for protection against electronic components and equipment that can be damaged by electrostatic discharge. This standard also specifies the characteristics that the Electrostatic Protected Area (EPA) must have.
The EN IEC 61340-4-3 standard describes a test method for determining the electrical resistance of footwear (shoes, slippers or boots) used in the monitoring of electrostatic potential on humans.
