Low safety shoes PORTO S3S

The Porto low safety shoes have a protective toe cap and are classified as S3S. The protective toe cap is made of fiberglass, and the safety insert is made of bulletproof fabric, which reduces the weight of the safety shoes. They are made of PUtek® technical fabric, and have additional reinforcement of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) in the toe area. Padded tongue provides greater comfort and better protection. The memory foam insole adapts to the foot, providing comfort and reducing foot fatigue. The sole of the shoe is puncture-resistant (P), antistatic and provides excellent anti-slip protection on ceramics and metal (SR). The tongue of the shoe has a pocket for inserting laces, which prevents them from untying. Porto low safety shoes offer protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD). Suitable for work in damp and wet working conditions, electrical industry, construction, transport and logistics, automotive and light industry.

Description of standards

The EN ISO 20345 standard specifies basic requirements and (optional) additional requirements for protective footwear. Footwear complying with EN ISO 20345 must have a specific shape, finger protection, anti-slip sole, ergonomic properties, upper shoes, strength and meet the required test criteria. Protective footwear with a cap is suitable for work where there is a high possibility of damage from mechanical influences.

EN 61340-5-1 specifies the characteristics for protection against electronic components and equipment that can be damaged by electrostatic discharge. This standard also specifies the characteristics that the Electrostatic Protected Area (EPA) must have.
