Bura high safety shoes have a protective cap and fall into protection class S3. They are made of waterproof cowhide leather (WR) and have a waterproof and breathable multi-layer membrane lining combined with multi-dimensional mesh. Padded tongue provides greater comfort and better protection. The anatomical insole based on memory foam adapts to the foot, provides exceptional comfort and reduces fatigue. The insert can be removed and washed. The shoes have a double-layer sole made of polyurethane (PU) and nitrile rubber, which is antistatic and provides exceptional anti-slip protection on ceramics and metal(SRC). The sole of the shoe protects you from cold (CI), heat (HI) and is tested for contact with heat up to 300 °C (HRO). The shoes offer protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD) shock.

Bura class S3 high safety shoes have an antistatic sole and insole. The sole is resistant to punctures and hydrocarbons, and the heel of the working shoe absorbs energy. The upper part of the shoe is resistant to water absorption.

Description of standards

The EN ISO 20345 standard specifies the basic requirements and (optionally) additional requirements for safety footwear. Footwear complying with EN ISO 20345 must have a specific shape, finger protection, anti-slip sole, ergonomic properties, upper shoes, strength and meet the required test criteria. Protective footwear with a cap is suitable for work where there is a high possibility of damage from mechanical influences.

EN 61340-5-1 specifies the characteristics for protection against electronic components and equipment that can be damaged by electrostatic discharge. This standard also specifies the characteristics that the Electrostatic Protected Area (EPA) must have.
