The Dunlop Work-It high safety boots have a protective cap and are classified as protection class S5. They are made of PVC and have a PVC sole. The sole has exceptional anti-slip properties (SR), is anti-static (A), absorbs energy in the heel (E), is resistant to oils and greases (FO) and offers protection against punctures (P). The sole of the boot is tested and certified for work on ladders (LG). The Work-It S5 high boots are waterproof and suitable for industrial work.

Description of standards

The EN ISO 20345 standard specifies the basic requirements and (optionally) additional requirements for safety footwear. Footwear complying with EN ISO 20345 must have a specific shape, finger protection, anti-slip sole, ergonomic properties, upper shoes, strength and meet the required test criteria. Protective footwear with a cap is suitable for work where there is a high possibility of damage from mechanical influences.

We distinguish between work boots and protective boots, which differ from each other in the level of protection. Work boots with the OB mark are intended for work where there is a small chance of injury due to mechanical influences. Safety boots marked SB have a protective cap and are intended for work where there is a high possibility of injury due to mechanical influences.
