BC Safety high boots have a protective cap and fall into protection class S5. They are made of PVC and have a lining made of nylon fibers. The insert provides antistatic properties and can also be removed and washed. The sole made of PVC and nitrile rubber is resistant to oils and fats of animal origin. BC Safety high boots offer good grip and anti-slip protection on ceramics (SRA).

S5 class safety boots are waterproof and have an antistatic sole and insole. The sole is resistant to punctures, hydrocarbons, and the heel of the work boot absorbs energy.

Description of standards

The EN ISO 20345 standard specifies the basic requirements and (optionally) additional requirements for safety footwear. Footwear complying with EN ISO 20345 must have a specific shape, finger protection, anti-slip sole, ergonomic properties, upper shoes, strength and meet the required test criteria. Protective footwear with a cap is suitable for work where there is a high possibility of damage from mechanical influences.

We distinguish between work boots and protective boots, which differ from each other in the level of protection. Work boots with the OB mark are intended for work where there is a small chance of injury due to mechanical influences. Safety boots marked SB have a protective cap and are intended for work where there is a high possibility of injury due to mechanical influences.
