Safety Shoes (EN ISO 20345 – with safety toe cap)

Safety shoes with the help of a protective cap protect the foot from pressure and impact up to 200 joules of energy. Levels of protection

• SB = shoes with protective cap;
• S1 = SB + A+FO+E;
• S2 = S1 + WRU;
• S3 = S2 + P;
• S4 = antistatic sole, waterproofing, energy absorption in the sole (footwear made of PVC or rubber);
• S5 = S4+ protection against piercing soles, intermediate bulletproof sole, profiled sole (footwear made of PVC or rubber).

Safety shoes that comply with the EN ISO 20345 standard have a non-slip sole on various surfaces. Distinguish:

• SRA – tested on ceramic tiles soaked with a diluted solution of sodium-lauril-sulfate (soap);
• SRB – tested on smooth steel with glycerol;
• SRC – tested under the conditions of SRA + SRB.
