The composite safety toe cap provides protection against an impact energy of 200 J and a compression force of 15 kN. The Kevlar penetration-resistant midsole protects the underside of the foot against penetration by sharp objects.

The S3 category includes a safety toe cap, an enclosed heel, antistatic properties and heel energy absorption. It also includes upper resistance to water penetration and absorption, penetration protection and a cleated outsole.
