High winter boots POLAR GRIP

Polar Grip high winter boots are without a protective cap and are classified as protection class OB. They are made of a combination of PVC and have a lining made of artificial fur. The lining made of artificial fur provides thermal insulation, and the elastic cuffs on the top of the boots protect against the ingress of water, snow or dirt. The PVC sole is resistant to cold (CI), animal fats, oils and hydrocarbons (FO). The heel absorbs energy (E). The boots offer good grip and anti-slip protection on ceramics and metal (SRC). Polar Grip high winter boots are suitable for use in wet and humid conditions in construction, agriculture, industry, etc., and in environments with low temperatures.

The EN ISO 20347 standard defines the basic requirements for occupational footwear. Among other things, it specifies requirements for shape, sole properties, anti-slip properties, ergonomic properties, uppers, strength, lining, insoles, soles, etc. Work footwear according to the EN ISO 20347 regulation does not have a protective toe cap and is suitable for work where there is a low risk of injury due to mechanical influences.

Work boots with the OB mark are intended for work where there is a small chance of injury due to mechanical influences. Safety boots marked SB have a protective cap and are intended for work where there is a high possibility of injury due to mechanical influences.
