The anti-cut protective work trousers of the Hewer collection have a classic look. They are made from durable TenCate Tecastyle™ NB 1043 fabric. The fabric in the twill weave offers high wear resistance, is soft, breathable and waterproof. They fasten with a hidden zipper and button at the waist. A back pocket with a flap, a sewn-in side pocket with a flap and a tool pocket ensure greater functionality. The trousers are equipped with removable straps. Colored accessories in orange provide better visibility and an attractive appearance.

Description of standards

EN ISO 13688 specifies the general performance requirements for ergonomics, safety, size marking, ageing, compatibility and markings of protective clothing and information to be provided by the manufacturer of protective clothing.

With the EN 381 standard, it is possible to achieve protection against cuts by chainsaws with different operating principles. On contact, the chain does not cut into the material, as the fibers pull the chain into the drive sprocket, which blocks the movement of the chain. The fibers have a high cutting resistance and thus absorb the rotational energy, so the speed of the chain slows down.
